Karoll Investment Brokerage was awarded for the 24th consecutive year as an investment brokerage firm that has concluded the largest number of transactions on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) within one calendar year. According to this indicator, Karoll is a traditional leader in the ranking, and in 2025 it has completed over 64,900 transactions on the BSE, or nearly 40% of all transactions concluded on the floor of the stock exchange. The prize was awarded during the official ceremony organized by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange to award the investment intermediaries and issuers that have achieved the highest results during the year.
At the event, Karoll Investment Brokerage was also presented with the prestigious award by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange for investment intermediary with the highest turnover and the largest number of transactions on the the BEAM Growth Market for small and medium-sized enterprises. The award recognizes the investment intermediary’s ongoing efforts to support the development of promising and innovative companies through public funding. Since the establishment of the BEAM Growth Market, Karoll Investment Brokerage, in its capacity as lead manager, has successfully executed financing projects for small and medium-sized enterprises amounting to nearly BGN 45 million.
The third prize was awarded to Karoll Investment Brokerage for investment intermediary with the highest turnover and the largest number of transactions on the market for foreign financial instruments - MTF BSE INTERNATIONAL. The award in this category is more than well deserved and comes against the backdrop of Karoll Investment Brokerage’s total dominance in this segment, with a market share of over 47% among Bulgarian investment intermediaries.
During the past year of 2025, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange’s leading index, SOFIX, reached a 17-year high, recording an annual increase of over 29.50% and a record level of 1,156.43 points. The index’s growth was supported by increased investor activity and a nearly 23% rise in turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, as well as an increase of over 7% in the number of transactions. In this positive year for the BSE, Karoll Investment Brokerage managed to:
- Execute 64,902 transactions on the BSE, which is nearly 40% of all transactions concluded on the BSE;
- Execute trades totaling over BGN 211 million, with the intermediary maintaining a leading position by this metric;
- Complete the largest capital increase in the history of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange’s BEAM market, raising over BGN 12 million for the investment company Webit Investment Network AD (WIN);
